Understand different models of social enterprises
Develop some reasoning on management issues of social enterprises
The lectures start with an introduction on the concept of social innovation, social entrepreneurship, social intrapreneurship and social enterprises.
We analyze the differences between the various types of social enterprises, their challenges to scale up the differences between the various types of social enterprises, their challenges to scale up their activities ans the role of donors.
Thanks to a MOCC, the course then focuses on the commercialization of social enterprises, with a specific interest in microfinance institutions.
