Engagement pédagogique du cours
Les doctorants qui souhaitent participer à ce cours doivent impérativement envoyer un mail au Prof. D. VAN CAILLIE (d.vancaillia@uliege.be) avec une brève présentation de leur projet de thèse et une explication des raisons pour lesquelles ce cours les intéresse. La présence à la 1ere session est OBLIGATOIRE.
PhD students who wish to participate in this course must send an e-mail with a short presentation of their thesis topic with the reasons why they are interested in the course to Prof. D. VAN CAILLIE (d.vancaillie@uliege.be ). Attendance to the 1st class is COMPULSORY.
Advanced Topics in Management Control is a course inserted in the Doctoral Program and is dedicated to students wishing to develop a doctoral research in the fields of financial or organizational management control, management accounting, control systems, internal audit, audit or operational risk management.
It stresses, in a scientific perspective and based notably on the contingency theory, on how to design a management control system that deals with the permanent interaction between human behaviour, management system within an organization and the different traditional tools in MCS (scorecards, budgets, performance monitoring systems).
